Lakeshore Child Development Services
Applied Behaviour Analysis
Direct Autism & Neurodiverse Services
Service Description
Individualized strategies and support. Direct 1:1 treatment or consultation/training available to support families, caregivers, respite workers, school staff, and frontline therapists. Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based, compassionate approach focused on understanding behaviour, teaching meaningful skills, and supporting children’s communication, independence, and well-being. All services are individualized and delivered directly by a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA), and while multiple weekly sessions are often recommended, we do not require a minimum number of hours. Our inclusive hourly rate covers all direct and indirect work—treatment delivery, planning and documentation, communication with families, and travel—while any additional assessment fees are discussed and agreed upon in advance. Behaviour programs are typically designed with a 6-month commitment to allow for meaningful progress; however, families may choose to pause or discontinue services at any time. Discharge decisions are made collaboratively and ethically, with consideration for the child’s best interests and continuity of care.
