Direct Assessments
Early-years assessments that guide clear, individualized next steps and program goals.
Service Description
Direct assessments are often the first step in helping us understand a child’s current skills and develop an individualized plan to move forward. The length of each assessment varies depending on the child’s age and skill level, and most assessments are repeated on an annual or bi-annual basis to track progress over time. The data collected form the foundation for our treatment goals and programming. *Note: Direct assessments may be booked independently and do not require a commitment to ongoing therapy or treatment services. We currently offer the following assessments: HELP Checklist (Hawaii Early Learning Profile) Early Start Denver Model Curriculum Checklist VB-MAPP (Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program) Carolina Curriculum for Infants and Toddlers with Special Needs Looksee Checklist Note: In some cases, multiple assessments may be recommended to obtain a comprehensive and well-rounded view of a child’s developmental profile.
